Studio Mariart's Founder

Mariastella Kamuti is an architect turned visual storyteller dedicated to transforming complex ideas into compelling narratives. With a background in architecture and a passion for art, she bridges technical expertise with creative communication, helping NGOs, non-profits, and socially driven organizations convey their messages visually.

Her journey began in the built environment, where she worked on designing spaces that serve communities. However, she realized that beyond buildings, there was a critical need for clear, engaging communication—especially in sectors tackling climate action, sustainable cities, and social change. Blending her architectural insight with illustration and graphic facilitation, she founded Studio Mariart to help organizations distill complex research, policies, and educational content into visually engaging formats.

Through graphic recording, document visualization, and explainer videos, Mariastella brings ideas to life, ensuring important conversations reach wider audiences, drive action, and create impact. Passionate about African culture, women’s empowerment, and technology, she uses visual storytelling as a tool for advocacy and education in the built environment and beyond.
